Operations Management
My Clients
My clients are educators, journalists, filmmakers, musicians, comedians, and artists. Their work requires blocks of time for deep thinking, dedicated production days, careful coordination of countless details, and a firmly established company infrastructure. This can be a lot for one person to manage alone!
Creators frequently come to me feeling burned out from juggling everything or worried that they are missing out on opportunities. I design order from this chaos, clarifying what they want to focus on and developing systems to support their goals.
My Approach
I take time to understand every client’s unique strengths and particular pain points. Together, we chart a course of problem-solving, whether that’s freeing up their time from email, handing off bookkeeping, or hiring a new team member. As we move into long term planning, I help develop a strategy for new ideas, monetization opportunities, and external partners... all while keeping the day-to-day minutiae humming in the background.
My regular workload looks different for each client, and includes managing inboxes, following up with external partners, vetting new opportunities, doing research, tracking deadlines, negotiating speaking engagements, and managing brand deals. I complement existing team members and recommend new ones, such as an agent, lawyer, accountant, editor, social media manager, merch company, etc.
Above all, my time with my clients is focused on being a sounding board, providing a safe space to honestly look at their vision, and ensuring their creative endeavors are in balance with their wellbeing.
What help do you need?
Long Term Partnership
For the majority of my clients, I operate in an ongoing role similar to a Chief Operations Officer at a traditional company.
Short Term Consulting
Some creators need help for a limited period of time to solve a specific problem.
Administrative Delegation
Others require one aspect of their workload to be taken off their plates in a limited capacity each week or month.
