My work with creators goes back to the early days of the online video industry, as a volunteer at the first VidCon event in 2010. As VidCon grew from 1,400 attendees to 25,000 over the next seven years, I was responsible for 450 Featured Creators in my role as Guest Manager. From this bird’s eye view, I witnessed the evolution of nerdy kids filming videos in their bedrooms, to creative entrepreneurs being a massively influential cultural force.
In 2017, I started working with individuals, exploring how my organizational skills could expand creative work. This has developed into a business that creates more time for my clients to do what they do best. I love to see how creators can inform, inspire, and bring online communities together... it’s magical!
My passion for online media comes from a lIfetime love of stories.
I have a liberal arts background in film history, digital media, and journalism. I dreamed of being a film producer, took a detour into event production, and to this day, I clearly can’t stop organizing everything! Let’s be honest, I’ve always been that kid who couldn’t wait to buy new school supplies and color coded all of my notebooks.
I live in Boulder, Colorado and spend much of my time in our beloved Flatiron mountain foothills. Every year, I set a goal to see all of the Oscar nominated movies and read 52 books. I have spent the pandemic training my cat Maisie to give me a high-five and perfecting a chocolate cake recipe.

TERYN GRAY
Teryn has been on the internet for what feels like forever; she has been involved in the development of online communities across platforms and creator spaces since 2007. From John and Hank Green’s annual YouTube charity drive, Project For Awesome, to contributing on Esther Earl’s NYT Best-Selling Novel This Star Won’t Go Out, to dream teaming it up with Laura on VidCon's Featured Creator Team, her work can be found in many beloved facets of online video history. She's worked on and off with Laura for the last few years, making creators' lives easier, more efficient, and expertly managed.
When not organizing everyone else's lives, Teryn is an actor, vocalist, and experiential producer. She holds a BFA from NYU Tisch School of the Arts and is a recent Masters graduate of the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art. Teryn is a lover of whisky, books, winning arguments, traveling, and outdoor adventuring. She is also a Gryffindor.
Lindsay Ballantyne
Lindsay has worked with creators and within online communities for over a decade. She volunteered at VidCon in 2012, where she met Laura and they both quickly realized they had a shared love of spreadsheets, task lists, and organization. For 5 years she worked with Laura on the Guest Management team at VidCon, helping to ensure each Featured Creator had a successful and fun event. Over the years, she has helped coordinate online charity events, assembled roundtable discussions for creators to share ideas and commiserate, and managed projects for creators.
When she's not color-coding spreadsheets, she works as a Massage Therapist in the suburbs of Denver, Colorado. She's spent the pandemic baking and doing at least one puzzle per week.
