Frequently Asked Questions

+ What’s your rate structure?

I work with either a set project fee or monthly retainer. Because every client’s business is different, I’ll work with you to understand the scope of your needs and suggest the appropriate flat rate. In situations where I negotiate sponsorships or speaking engagements, it sometimes makes sense to charge a commission fee.

+ How long do you work with clients?

For operations work, my goal is to begin an ongoing partnership – and in these situations, I’ve worked with some clients for years and years. I also offer short term consulting and project management for 3 or 6 months.

+ Do you offer a free consultation?

Absolutely, in fact it’s recommended. It can take one or two initial meetings for me to understand how I can best help each creator. After an initial conversation, I walk new clients through outlining the current state of their business in order to customize my proposal.

+ Will you help grow my new channel?

I specialize in managing complex workloads once a creative entrepreneur’s business is established, not in growth and audience acquisition for new creators. That said, I work with clients who have channels of all sizes - from a few hundred thousand subscribers up to millions.

+ Are you an agent or a talent manager?

Rather than falling into these traditional entertainment industry roles, I have carved out a new niche that suits the needs of many creative entrepreneurs. Instead of focusing primarily on bringing in deals, I help creators execute an already-overwhelming workload, get new projects up and running, and strengthen the foundation of their businesses.

I do occasionally negotiate brand deals and speaking engagements for some clients, when they don’t have anyone else working with them. And in other situations, I complement the managers and agents who are on my clients’ teams by helping to track and execute deals.

+ Can you help increase my revenue?

I take a holistic approach to financial goals. Some creators need their time freed up from administrative details... if they have dedicated production days, they can produce more content, and increase advertising or sponsorship revenue. Others need better insight into their finances, so I recommend an accountant and set up regular bookkeeping processes. Often creators are missing out on lucrative opportunities because they’re lost amongst 10,000 unread emails, which I can wrangle down to inbox zero. And finally, I help clients structure yearly goals and a long-term vision, in order to focus on projects that are both worthwhile financially and fulfilling creatively.
